You and I both know that a professional photography session isn’t just about the social media shares. Documenting the “right now” is important because it is fleeting and precious. Because we’re going to want to look back on this. Because babies don’t keep, and whether yours are just beginning this wondrous life or learning to fly on their own, this is a unique moment in your life and worth capturing.
It’s my passion and privilege to capture your love, your connections, your real life as it is right now—to preserve what is precious and help you feel renewed gratitude for the beauty and wonder that already exists in your world.
WHEN & WHERE
The timing of your session will depend on the needs of your family. Outdoor sessions are usually best very early in the morning or in the early evening. In-home sessions (which is always the case for newborns) can be done any time during the day. Depending on the season, I am often booked at least a month in advance.
We’ll work together to choose a location that fits your family.—indoors at home or outside in one of South Florida’s beautiful natural locations.
I photograph families throughout Palm Beach County, and am also willing to travel for sessions.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your family’s connection is the focus. You can expect images that capture the feeling of being together in the moment. I take a natural storytelling approach to family portraits.
I’ll prompt you into scenes, give you some guidance so you don’t feel awkward, but no stiff posing here. For much of the session you will be interacting with one another—only sometimes looking directly at the camera.
Newborn sessions are always family sessions. I do not bring props or pose babies extensively, but rather aim for a more natural view of real life with a newborn.
WHAT IS THE COST?
Family sessions are $850
This includes:
A session of 45-90 minutes. This window allows for a relaxed and stress-free session. I do not charge by the hour, so there will not be pressure if little ones need additional time to warm up, or a break mid-session. On average, we’ll be together for about an hour.
Full set of digital files, artistically edited, available for download from an online gallery, along with access to my curated print shop.
Maternity + Newborn session package is available for $1500
