It's no secret how much I love brand new babies and their families. There is so much joy surrounding this amazing season of life, and I'm so lucky to get to document a little of that.

As I await the arrival of my own fourth little one any day now, I so enjoyed revisiting this in-hospital session—captured only a day after the birth of this sweet baby girl! Commonly called “Fresh 48” sessions because they’re done during the first 48 hours of baby’s life, in-hospital (or in-birthplace) newborn sessions have a raw tenderness that makes me swoon. It’s always such an immense honor to be invited into the life of a family during this incredibly precious time.
