a little about me…

I am an artist and collector of stories, and I’ve had the honor of documenting the beauty in families’ lives since 2008. 

I live on the Southeast Florida coast with my wonderful husband, our four wild and and amazing children, a dog, a cat, and lots of plants. 

I laugh (and sometimes cry) easily, love books and watercolors, feel most alive when I’m in nature, want to travel everywhere, and I really enjoy a good impromptu family dance party.

I have always been drawn to stories. I spent a lot of time when I was young flipping through my Grandma's large collection of family albums, immersing myself in the tales they told—of my relatives and parents, of my earliest days and toddler years and everyday moments that spoke of our real lives years before.

As each year of motherhood passes, I’ve experienced more and more the way time slips like sand between our fingers. It has become increasingly important for me to document, to remember. Doing so frees me to experience the moment more fully, and be present in it.

THIS IS SOMETHING I HOPE TO GIVE TO EACH AND EVERY FAMILY I WORK WITH: SPACE TO BE PRESENT AND CONNECTED IN THE MOMENT, AND A TANGIBLE VISUAL REMINDER OF WHAT THAT FEELS LIKE.
