This morning I woke early and began preparations for our family’s Thanksgiving meal. While chopping vegetables, I began to reflect on all that I’m thankful for, and felt compelled to post here today. It would be impossible to adequately express my gratitude for all that fills my life, but I will try to scratch the surface.
I am intensely thankful for my husband and sons. These three are my world, and my love for them is in every fiber of my being.
I’m thankful for all those we call family, including the ones not even related by blood. The relationships in my life enrich it so very much; I am so blessed to be close to some incredibly awesome people.
I’m thankful for my clients, who believe in what I do and allow me to create art for them. I’m thankful for my ability to do what I am passionate about for a living, and that it is flexible enough for me to also be present for my young family on a daily basis.
I could go on forever I think. My home, my country, my health, and all of the little things that make my world happier and more beautiful.
In the midst of this day, with it’s food and gatherings, and the busiest season about to kick off, I say a prayer of gratitude for all of this and so much more.
A very, very Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families.
